Suderbyn People-Care Cooperative was founded in July 2008 as Suderbyn Cooperative Society and renamed in 2016 to Suderbyn People-Care Cooperative. It is the legal “face” of the ecovillage, and is responsible for maintaining and developing the buildings and land of the property, so as to provide a sustainable home for short- and long-term residents, volunteers and visitors. 

The cooperative is concerned with:
-renting rooms to residents and collecting money for food
-financial aspect of the maintenance of the Suderbyn bicycle- and car-pools
-management and responsibility for Suderbyn’s property
